Capturing the rich cultural and historical significance of the Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Indian Tribe, DLA created an engaging entrance plaza and landscape plan. The entrance plaza design was inspired by a mat weave pattern found within tribal archives. Plantings that are native to tribal lands were chosen and include species used for food, shelter, basketry and medicinal purposes.
