Bascom and her committment to low income housing and alternative modes of transportation. The complex offers many amenities for residents including a
children's playground, community center, community garden and courtyard gathering spaces.
Pathways meander through lush landscaping. Seat walls feature colorful recycled glass tiles. Swaths of colored concrete contribute to the flowing design
aesthetic. Rain gardens provide on-site treatment for stormwater runoff. Landscape, paving and site elements work together to complement Bergsund DeLaney
building architecture and give the complex the feeling of a welcoming neighborhood.
