Bohemia Park

Bohemia Park is located at the east end of the city’s downtown core. This former brownfield site was once home to a mill and railyard. The expansion project aimed to transform the northern corner of the park into a hub of activity, with allusions to its industrial past.
DLA provided detailed design and bid documents for a portion of the park that had been previously master planned. Project elements include a restroom/storage building, playground, splash pad, and an open field for passive recreation. These features are connected by curving pathways that meander through art plinths, while colorful plantings punctuate the landscape. DLA guided the design to integrate all these elements into a cohesive park space.
